The stories of thousands of families awaiting reunification.   ​On March 15, 2016 the Citizens' Alliance for North Korean Human Rights in cooperation with the British Embassy in Seoul, UK Mission in Geneva and the Korean Assembly for Reunion of Ten Millions Separated Families hosted parallel event to urge international community's support in resolving the issue of Korean separated families. This issue has been identified as a serious human rights violation in the report of the UN Commission of Inquiry, UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the DPRK and the recent report of the UN High Comissioner for Human Rights.  See details

The video is intertwined with secret footages shot in North Korea.     • Korean Airlines Flight Hijacked by North… Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6NzSlLCsig&feature=relmfuOn December 11, 1969, a Korean Airlines aircraft with 46 passengers and 4 crew members on board was hijacked by a North Korean spy. Under international pressure, North Korea freed 39 passengers, but the rest were never returned to South Korea. More than 40 years have passed, but the victims' families are not even able to confirm whether their family members are alive. The South Korean government's support of and international awareness about this situation is crucial. The need to end this protracted tragedy is now more urgent than ever as the abdutees and their separated families are growing older.
